A$AP Rocky Guilty Verdict Handed Down By Sweden

30 years old A$AP Rocky(real name: Rakim Mayers) was found guilty in Sweden, and the decision was as we expected. Tealisted said that as A$AP’s life was not in danger when he attacked 19 year old Mustafa Jafari- he would be guilty. We suspected A$AP maybe found guilty for his actions. We stated that the rapper could have called the police, and allowed his bodyguard to handle the situation. After all that is why he has a bodyguard. It’s mind boggling as to why A$AP got involved with the Afghan migrant. It’s not enough to attack someone because they are following you after you told them to stop.

As much as you may want to clock the person. Logic has to play in here. Is your life in danger? Why didn’t you call the police to handle the matter. We don’t know what happened off video, but we haven’t heard A$AP say he feared for his life. What made him fear for his life that he felt the need to rush Jafari to the ground. What did A$AP do to exit the scene. All these are the questions that would be asked by any court, and evaluated by a judge after A$AP attacked Jafari. From TMZ:

The 4 judges in the case issued their written ruling Wednesday … concluding A$AP was guilty of assaulting a man during a street fight in Stockholm. The judges said Rocky, and his 2 friends who were also standing trial, “were not in a situation where they were entitled to self-defense.”

I AM OF COURSE DISAPPOINTED BY TODAY’S VERDICT. I WANT TO SAY THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF MY FANS, FRIENDS, AND EVERYONE WHO SHOWED ME LOVE DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. IMMA KEEP MOVING FORWARD. THANK YOU TO MY TEAM, MY MANAGEMENT, ATTORNEYS, LABEL AND EVERYONE WHO ADVOCATED FOR JUSTICE.
From The Hollywood Reporter
As part of the judgement, the three defendants will have to pay damages amounting to $1,309 (SEK 12,500) to Jafari, who had claimed a much larger sum —SEK 139,700 or $14,600 —in damages. All three defendants will also have to pay an additional $84 (SEK 800) each to a crime victims fund and to cover Jafari’s legal costs
