CNN’s Chris Cuomo Apologizes For Reaction To Fredo Comment; Trump Campaign Making Fredo T-Shirts

CNN’s Chris Cuomo gave his haters what they needed when he flipped out after a guy called him Fredo. Cuomo was captured in a video shouting and scolding the guy that called him Fredo. The video was filled with Cuomo shouting profanities, and telling the man calling an Italian Fredo is comparable to the N word being blurted at black people. This is news to even us on what Cuomo is saying. Racist words are created by those of other cultures onto one culture. It’s not known that a racist word is created within a culture by its own people.

If you watched Godfather- all the acts of Fredo was conducted by Fredo. The lies. The weakness, and the betrayal. Down to his name was given to him by the Italians. Did Cuomo misplace the word racist in telling the man calling him Fredo is like calling a black person the N-word? Did Cuomo really mean to tell the guy not to disrespect him like that? Is calling an Italian really a slur or just disrespectful? If we base it off of Cuomo’s feelings- yes.

It’s seen as the ultimate disrespect to Italians Cuomo said to the man. The CNN news anchor was so upset that he threatened to throw the man down the stairs. The video of a normally cool Cuomo losing it went viral. President Donald Trump’s campaign is capitalizing on the CNN anchor losing his training wheels by creating Fredo Unhinged T-Shirts. It’s not a surprise that Trump’s team is taunting the CNN anchor with Fredo t-shirts. Cuomo has been outspoked on Trump’s policies and antics as President Of the United States. Trump responded to seeing the viral video of Cuomo saying:

I think that what Chris Cuomo did was horrible. His language was horrible. He looked like a total out of control animal. He lost it, and frankly- I don’t think anybody could defend him. Because he spews lies every night, so I don’t know why anybody would defend him. But, Chris Cuomo was out of control. I watched it. I thought it was terrible, so I don’t know who is defending him. Maybe they didn’t see it. Maybe they haven’t gotten a full picture, but I think anybody that would have seen Chris Cuomo would have said that was a disgrace. You never seen me do that.

CNN displayed their support for their employee Cuomo in saying:

“Chris Cuomo defended himself when he was verbally attacked with the use of an ethnic slur,” CNN said in a statement. “We completely support him.”

Cuomo has not been back on air since the occurrence. We don’t know why, but it wouldn’t be surprising that if CNN gave him some days to cool off. However, the news anchor did jump on Twitter regretting the situation saying this:

“Appreciate all the support but – truth is I should be better than the guys baiting me. “This happens all the time these days. Often in front of my family. But there is a lesson: no need to add to the ugliness; I should be better than what I oppose.”
