There is the gay parade which occurs every year in men and women celebrating their sexual preference. June is pride month city to city with many countries celebrity ones choice of same sex relations. Rainbow flags are typically tied to someone being gay or in support of those who are gay. Straight men seeing a festival being held for gay people is wondering why they cannot have their own festivities. Three men have started the movement citing “the unique problems, and discrimination” straight men face. Gay gossip entertainer Andy Cohen is calling the thought the dumbest f**king thing he has ever heard.
Going over to Super Happy Fun American, their site in support of a parade for straight men read:
We are disappointed [sic] that the Walsh administration has chosen hate and discrimination, a blog post on the site from April 20 reads. “Therefore, we have decided to launch a campaign to educate the public, politicians, and civil servants about the straight community and the unique problems we face. We have determined that a parade would be the best way to promote our community and its diverse history, culture, and identity. We anticipate that the city will eventually choose to embrace tolerance and inclusivity.
The application for a parade for straight people and their flag being risen has been rejected. In case you are interested in the color of the heterosexual flag, it’s blue and pink. The organizers looking to have a parade for straight people as their is one for day people said this:
The event is pending approval from the City of Boston. Contact the Mayor’s office at 617-635-4500 and demand an end to discrimination against straights. We also deserve a parade!
