The death of Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman passing away at the ripe age of 43 years old has many in shock. The news came in yesterday of the actor’s sad passing. Boseman who played the lead role of Black Panther passed away at his Los Angeles home surrounded by his wife (Taylor Simone Ledward;below), and close family members after a four year battle with colon cancer. Boseman is said to have married Ledward secretly last year.
It was just last night I was discussing with my partner on how I felt there was something wrong with Boseman as we were watching Lebron James’ HBO show, The Shop: Uninterrupted featuring Boseman. Boseman was frail with massive weight loss, and had a serious case of acne on one side of his face. The actor’s appearance was a huge turn from his appearance in the Black Panther.
It was long suspected that Boseman was not well as photos have circulated of the actor’s dramatic weight loss(below). Boseman’s people then said the actor’s dramatic weight loss was in preparation for a film project. Clearly, that was done to deceive the public from the truth of the actor’s health.
Despite Boseman appearing in other films such as 21 Bridges, Marshall, and Jackie Robinson– which were also well received-Marvel was his stage of huge success. Black Panther set Boseman to a level of fame never imagined as King T’Challa with the world-wide known slogan…Wakanda Forever.
He never forgot his faith though. Boseman who was a Christian prayed for the role of Black Panther. The actor’s family recognizing that Black Panther launched Boseman as a house-hold name, and brought him world-wide attention, said this of Boseman’s passing:
Boseman never had any kids, and is survived by his wife. What a year it has been. Coronavirus and now this.
