Why Did Takeoff Put Himself Around The Position Of Dice Gambling That Took His Life ?

Rapper Takeoff was shot dead at a dice gambling game being played by his rap side kick and uncle Quavo. Allegedly, the high stakes dice throwing gamble game was being played with gang members or around them.

It’s said that Quavo was not happy in losing $7,000, and that an argument broke out- which ended  up in shots being fired. Reports are that someone from Quavo’s camp carrying a gun opened fire, which triggered a response from alleged gang members.

Shots were reportedly fired back at Quavo’s camp in response to their actions, and stray bullets are said to have hit Takeoff in the head twice and once in the neck. He died at the scene. He was only 28 years old. An autopsy has already been done on Takeoff according to CBS who says:

Takeoff died from gunshot wounds to the head and torso following a shooting early Tuesday morning outside a private party at a downtown Houston bowling alley. Takeoff’s primary cause of death was listed as “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into arm,” and his manner of death was called homicide.

It’s mind boggling that rapper’s who have been privileged to living a life of security, and luxury still cling to that life of high risk when it comes to violence. It’s the life they managed evolve from, but yet they return back to it where it so often take their lives.

Takeoff may very well be here today if he didn’t go to Houston where he associated in a game of dice with gang members. He wasn’t the player in the game the day he was accidently shot, but he placed himself in that surrounding.
