Jay Z Says He Was Not Protesting During Sit Down During National Anthem,

Jay Z

Jay Z and Beyonce were quickly criticized for sitting down during the national anthem at the 2020 Super Bowl. Social media went crazy with many saying the power couple were ungrateful, and some even threatening to stop supporting anything they do.

Speaking at Columbus University, a professor got an answer out of the former rapper on whether he was protesting for a cause at the 2020 Super Bowl by sitting. Jay Z’s answer was that he and Beyonce were laser focused on Demi Lovato’s national anthem performance that made sitting necessary.

Beyonce according to Jay Z had thoughts about Demi Lovato having the butterflies leading up to her performance. This was the call to attention leaving the couple glued to their seat as they turned on their artistic mode hats in observing Demi Lovato’s national anthem performance.

Many believed Jay  and Beyonce sitting during the national anthem was just them being lacking respect for the American flag in their version of a Colin Kaepernick kneel. Well, Jay Z has answered his sitting down during the 2020 Super Bowl by citing artist judgement. Cannot you not stand and critique in an artistic mode as well?  What do think, is Jay Z just making an excuse for sitting during the national anthem.
